Some more work

In my pursuit as a multi-purpose machine, I decided to look for a 2nd set of wheels so race slicks could be mounted.  It would save levering on and off tires depending on the event/activity.  ZX7R wheels are not known to be light, nor are they particularly durable.  The thought of multiple tire changes for 1-2 days on the track didn't make sense.  Especially considering wheels can be bought for reasonably cheap prices.
To that end, I snagged a set of polished wheels off of ebay.  According to the pics, the only concern was a bit of rust on the rear rotor, no doubt from sitting out somewhere.  The rim itself looked good, and the seller listed them as "straight".  When I picked them up, they were in fact straight, although it is apparent they must have gone over a curb, as there is a little dent in the rim.  Fairly minor, I am not sure if I should bother repairing it.  At least the rotor was straight and the bearings seem good.  I thought if the rear had a dent, I wonder if the front...

Again, it spun "straight", but there is also a flat spot in the lip of the rim, and only on one side.  The rotors are straight, so that is always a good sign.

Speaking of rotors, the stockers that came with the bike were both warped.  Decided on a set of EBC rotors off of Ebay.  Didn't bother with wave rotors.  With the new Nissin Calipers, installing the calipers themselves is a bit tight, but once on, mount up nicely.  Hopefully no warpage.  The feel at the lever is quite good as well.  Note the venhill stainless lines as well.  Still waiting on throttle cable supplies to get everything hooked up again.  The race bodywork should be here shortly as well.
